I am a data scientist based in Amsterdam. This website is my personal archive of more than 1,000 posts written over several years. I am interested in data, statistics, research methods, education, movies, machine learning, TV shows, chess, R, Python, books, data visualisation, and a few other things. The posts on this blog are related to these themes. All posts reflect my own opinions - and for older entries, hopefully not anymore.
